What do you look for in the frags you buy online or at your local shop? What is most motivating to you? Price? Size? Reputation for good stuff?

I ask because we are getting ready to bring our frags to the web. We have a ton of great stuff in stock that we have been growing and propagating in our greenhouse.

Rob if you want to blow everyone else away with your frag packs, let the buyers choose their frags either as individual frags (WYSWYG) or from small groups that have pictures of what to expect: ie-- one from the millies, encrusting montis, acropora, etc.

Maybe also let buyers exclude what they don't want or need within reason because they already have or don't like.

I have yet to see anyone else do this so I'm sure it would be a big hit.

I think quality and price are the most important. Size is less important as long as the frags are encrusted and doing well. The reason I buy frag packs or quantities of frags at one time is it really saves on shipping.

Good luck,

James

This is good feedback, we will take this into account.

Anyone else?

Nick, out of curiosity, are you willing to pay a higher per piece price to offset the shipping cost, or would flat rate shipping with a lower per piece cost be more appealing?

Would you want the option of picking all pieces in the pack? or, say pick 2 pieces in a 5pc pack or pick 4 pieces in a 10pc pack?

Also, to add to Rob's original post...what would you guys think would be the optimal sized pack? 5pcs, 6 pcs, 8, 10, 12, etc?

6 pack sounds about right:D

Seriously, smaller packs are fine. Once you get a pretty mature reef you generally aren't looking for large amounts of coral but rather quality.
