I have a 29g with a 250W MH 14K, I wanting to put a clam on the sand bed if I can get him to attach to a small piece of live rock and bury it in the sand. Do you think it will get enough light?

I should say it's plenty, which species of clam are you considering?

more than enough. I like to use frag disks for my clams to attach-- easy to move and stabilizes them if I put them on a flat surface. Your light is enough for a crocea, how is the flow?

I have 2 in my 29 with a 250 watt Phoenix bulb. One is about 4 inches off the sand bed, the other on the sandbed, both are doing great.
