AEFW - most of the times you will see the bite marks before you ever see the worms or eggs

AEFW eggs

of the two - give me teh red bugs any day - much easier to deal with

so what do the red bugs do? do they eat the coral as well?

They irritate the polyps and the skin, causing the coral to stress more. Its pretty much like fleas for acros.

Thanks

How does this bug get introduced to the aquarium? Through bad frags?

I forgot to dip 1 SPS in my tank, usually how long will it take b4 red bugs attack?

I plan on dipping everying in interceptor (sps wise) b4 adding to my tank. But can they come attached to rocks or other types of coral?

Some people say they just appear out of no where? But that piece I missed, it should be infected now if it were to right?

Yes, red bugs would have to come in on a acro coral. Examine all of your corals very close. I use a magnifying glass.

Red bugs, sorry this is as "macro" as I can get......lol

Here is what they looked like in my tank:

With the naked eye they looked like specks but with some magnification you could clearly see the red on their bodies. I HATE these little pests but I am aware there are worst critters.

So if I treat any upcoming ones, I won't get them? You mean if i were to have them now I'd have them right?
