I thought this particular piece was very interesting when I picked it up. It was sold to me as a bowerbanki but I am leaning more towards rotundoflora. What caught my eyes was the different coloration between the mouth, which is orange, and the corallite, which is a steel blue/grey. Then there is the outer neon green rim. Interesting color morph to say the least.

That's really cool Kenny! Looks rotunda-ish to me too.

You can sell frags by the size, but instead of a 1/4 inch frag, you can call it an "A" cup, and so on.

damm rob thats even funnier. i could picture in a raise in a cup sales buy seeing how some of these crazy chalice frags are getting smaller and smaller.
as we all request double d's

I'd have to say rotundoflora also.

I have a Rotun and have to say it's close but not sure. Hey pookstreet did you get that from Will at Aquasd? Anyway here is mine, it's the 3rd one down on Will's thread at Sdreefs.

Nice piece? How do you tell if it's a rotundoflora? I have a coral sold as that and don't really know how to tell. It always has it's feeders out so makes it hard to compare. I like that green rim on yours.

I hate posting all these links but the first time I came across this type of Acan was a few years ago at Diamonds In The Reef.

Ok here's a crappy pic of mine, I usually call it the red thing since I don't really know if it is a rotundoflora or not. I like that one diamonds in the reef has, been lusting over that for a while.

Yeah, I asked Clint for a frag of that thing a long time ago. Would look great in my tank.
