Gluing acrylic panels vertically using a jig?

I think that gluing acrylic panels vertically,has the benefit of adjusting the gap between edges as you want so as for the glue to easilly penetrate into the entire joint.It definitely needs a special jig to do it,but I think I can make one similar to my jig for horizontal gluing.What are your opinions on this?

The current methods are pretty well worked out to make easy clean joints. No need to reinvent the wheel IMO.
