different tanks, different setups, and i get the same results with these guys. lazy polyp extension and slow tissue recession.

current tank.
15g, 10g sump.
150w phenix 14k
css 65 (run it 48 hrs a week)
maxi 600 for flow.
77 deg f .
5g red sea pro reef water change every week.

no fish, feed the corals once a week.

had it about 2 weeks and see a little more then 1/4 inch of white fresh skeleton behind the tissue.

once this one "croaks" i think im threw with frogspawn.

its normally bad transport on them that does it. how did you put it in your tank. ive learned to never take them out of the water and if i have to i hold them upside down to keep the flesh from being cut on skeleton. plus a 150 on a 15 gallon is a bunch of light. just some thoughts

That is a lot of light for 15g. IME, frogspawn does not like intense light (especially in the beginning) and/or strong flow (could damage the tissue).

Try to place him under some shades and away from direct flow. If you have all water parameters checked, the frogspawn should show some sign of recovery.

Can you post a pic?

just an update. i moved it out from the center off to the side and that seemed to help. polyps are extended and i can see growth. i fed it today and it grabbed the syringe(didnt know they did that) and munched all the shrimps down.
