This one fell off. This has to be one of the largest valonia bubbles ever.

:lol: :lol: hahaha! Poor Marc gets so much undeserved crap on the forums.

That's a lot of valonia there, just looking at it makes me shudder. I removed another handful just last night.

I think I'm finally starting to win the fight though, the latest valonia growths are stunted, tiny, misshapen, and sparse. Last weekend I replaced a full pound of phosphate remover media and I fasted my fish one night.

I was just thinking about this thread and Rich's huge .... valonia.... :lol: I guess I need to ask the obvious question: "Why didn't you pull it out sooner? Were you wanting to see how big it could get?"
