i've had my midas blenny for about 2 months now and it's been acting a little strange. it'll swim down to the sand ben and kind of rub the side of it's body on the sand and then come back up. it did it a little when i first got it but recently it's been doing it much more. also, i just noticed it twitching its head. physically i see nothing wrong with the fish, no ich or anything and the fish is a really great eater and is doing great otherwise. any idea why it's acting like this? should i be worried? my water parameters are where they should be, everything 0, ph 8.2, salinity 1.025, temp 80. thanks guys!

That can sometimes be signs of ich or body velvet. Did u QT the blenny?(if not don't worry I'm not going to judge!!) Are any of the other fish in the tank showing any signs of anything?

i didn't quarantine the fish, but it had been at the pet store over a week before i got it. i just noticed the midas' underside (belly) has ridges that i couldn't see before, i dunno maybe i just didn't notice them. all the other fish are doing well, eating, no signs of ich or anything.

there are no white spots on the fish though and it's been a while now. i think it might have something to do with the fish's gills maybe?
