I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of snail this is... It is purple and white in color with no real shell to it. I have a couple of them in my tank, but they dont really look like Nudis either. I dont have any good pics right now.

Google "stomatella" and see if that's what you've got. If so, it's good news. They're great, prolific algae grazers.

Im pretty sure that is what I have. I actually have a few of them. I will take a pic and post it.

I love these guys! some of my favorite aquatic critters.

Yeah they are pretty cool looking. I like the vibrant white and purple mixed together. Plus the tiny shell they have makes them look very different than most snails you see. Almost like a half breed between nudibranchs and snails

dude i have no lie over 200+ in my 90gal started with a few i could see every couple of days or so..now i have them ranging 1mm to over 1/2 an inch and i was wondering what they were also but was told untill they cause a problem dont worry about it..im glad to hear they are good to have..LOL..your going to have alot more of them in a few months, and they are pretty fun to watch at night after lights out
