Cleaning a Vortech

Am just to lazy to search so am asking what is the best way to clean the wet side of the Vortech? Also how often should it be done? Mine seems to be growing a little algea inside of it:lol:

Remove the nozzle from the wet side and soak both in vinegar over night. You probably only need to do this a couple of times of year.
