siphon out as many as you can before useing..have water prepared to do water change and have some carbon rdy to run after about 1 1/2 after useing.I would recomend doing it a few times. If you have a ton then do the recomended dose the first time then wait a few days then triple the recomended dose.I have tried it a few times and while it took care of most of them i still see a few.I am gonna hit it with 4 times recomended dose the next time i try it.

My LFS guy suggested a mandarin and to my surprise he killed off what seemed like a infestation X5

Did you get the spotted one or the blue one?

I've never heard of mandarins eating flatworms, I suppose though.....A six line wrasse will eat them, but from my experience fish will only semi control them, in the display only.

Flat worm exit is completely safe to use and I would recommend you use it. Like already mentioned if you have a lot of them do the recommended dose. Then after a week do 3 or even 4 times the recommended dose. And like Rockymtreefer said, have water and carbon ready.

Good luck.
