I have about a 5G fuge with grape caulerpa but i'm starting to get a large (to me) amount of cyano in there. Should i just scrape and siphon it out or is it harmless?

The DT is still in good shape but there's a trace of cyano in spots.. the snails clean it up pretty quickly but i want to avoid any problems of course.

I'd siphon out as much as possible and maybe toss a couple snails in the fuge. I had some hair algae growing in my fuge, so I tossed a turbo snail and an astria snail in there and they made quick work of it. I have left them in there and they keep it spotless.

better that it grows down there, than in your DT. Prune it as best you can.
