Well I went with 2 Koralia 3's.. I have a 65 Gallon...

I would say for you grab maybe 3 Koralia 3's and if you need more add..

Do you think 2 koralia 4's would be better?

I can't tell you forsure I have not setup my 3's yet.. but I was hoping someone with a 180 would post here too..

I mean I would say try two 4's but I would rather have 3 3's and have more aim options

what do you plan on keeping in your tank? i have a 90 with 3 koralia 3's and i still want more flow, for a tank that size i would recommend a few #4's and a few#3's if not all #4's how many depends on what you are keeping...

if you are "up" grading, go with tunze nanostreams. 4 x 6045's.

I personally have zero complaints about the koralia's a few years ago they did have a recall as the putty or whatever insulating the motors would break down over time causing electricity to leak out into the tank but that was not hydor's fault it was on their suppliers end and they quickly acted on the situation. if it was my tank i would start with 4 of them and work up from there if needed

i just bought a four off marine depot. Ill put it in and see how i like it. the powerheads i have now are ancient. I havent even seen any thing like them in any magazines or stores.

I've had several types of powerheads. If you are "upgrading" I would look at tunze. A bit costly but the best I've owned by far.

sorry to hijack but have any of you used a tunze wavemaker in a 180 and are there any better ones than tunze.
