was moving stuff around in our fuge today
and noticed this coral growing in (and hidden) amongst a 'forest' of xenia... must have come in on the LR.


anyone have a definitive id on this?

Kinda looks like Sinulara Dura (cabbage coral). A better picture might help

looks a bit like a faded cabbage (Sinularia dura). cant think of any other softies that grow polyps along the edges like a scroll turb does

can you see spicules embedded in the flesh? usually they're quite visible in cabbages

Billdog? Sarcasm? If so kind of funny. I am a newbie and think I have a sprout of this popping it's ugly head out of a rock. Should I yank that thing?
