looking on my rock this evening I saw a brown anemone like creature. I am sure its a aptsia ( how the hell do you spell it?). Can someone please help me get rid of it... I have been told that they are bad JuJu for a aquarium. (anyone got a picture of one)

If it is only one; that would be extremely lucky, you can use a turkey baster full of boiling water and cook the little bugger, If there are more then the post above, or using a KW paste solution, will work it you put in the time to hit them all.

Joe's Juice is probably the best way but you can also use lemon juice or a Lime/Kalk solution thru a syringe. I use kalk myself and a syringe. A couple TBS in a small glass, mix it up real good. Take a syringe and suck up some of the kalk solution and then sneak up on the Aptasia. When it's not looking, STAB IT in the face and push the plunger., The Aptasia will melt like the Wicked Witch of the West. Clean the syringe up real good so you will be able to use it next time.

That's one of the best aiptasia pictures I've seen. Very clear and detailed. Saving it for when I need to respond to a thread.

I don't know. They are really kind of pretty. If they were not as reckless in their sex habits they would probably a welcome addition to a tank.

Yeah that is a nice PIC, you should check out the PIC of them eating. You can see the food going through them it is way cool.

Whatever you do, do not try to simply pull it off and think you got it. :)
