Using the AC3 with a standard ORP probe. I have been using this for about two months. The problem is it is always reading very high.I took it out today to wash/rinse in RO/DI water and it still reads 360-370???? Is this a bad probe?? I have PH #10 and #7 no #4 like the manual says to try and recalibrate. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Dave.

Hmm, reply got lost...

Unless you are using Ozone it is not important what the values are as much as what they do. If the tank is unhealthy the values move downwards and if things are good the value remains high.

That said; is you want to calibrate you need a calibration solution that is made of saturated Quinhydrone. Marine depot sells such a caliration kit from Octopus which should work.

Those fluids are for calibrating PH probes. Did you mean that you were calibrating the ORP or the PH probe?

Thanks for the insight. I am not running ozone, so I guess the number really isn't that important. I will order some solution and re-calibrate. Is there any warranty with these probes?? Thanks again, Dave.
