I got a pretty low flow Refuge and my local shop sells these large adult brine shrimp, probably around 3mm, ( I little bigger than larger tigger pods). Does anyone for see any problems with buying extra and leaving them in the refuge instead of the refrigerator.

So, they aren't alive? Don't put them in your tank if they aren't going to be eaten right away. They'll just decay and contribute to nutrient issues.
You can't raise brine shrimp in the fuge: different life requirements. But you can raise mysis shrimp, a litltle larger, and having the same life requirements as the fuge. i have a fairly nice breeding population.

Interesting, I was unaware of this, where would one buy live mysis shrimp for the fuge?

Do you feed your fish the mysis or do they find a way in through the return? The reason i ask is that there is a spounge in the return pump, so if they get bigger than brine shrimp, wont they get stuck in that little sponge? (eheim 1260)

I had them in my previous tank, but none made it to my current tank. I didn't buy mine either. :(
