I would like to order some of your 5 gallon buckets of calcium chloride. Do you have (posted perhasps) any detailed chemical specs on it and what it is? I assume it's like Dowflake from your website. Thanks.:)

Hi Larry. We don't have any specs posted. This is the CaCl we switched to some time ago when DOW changed the bromide content in DOWFlake.

This is the CaCl used by a commercial aquarium we work with, and we use it in our 300 gal reef as well.

Anything specific you are looking for?

Russ

Russ, can the CaCl you are now offering be used for a direct replacement for Dow Flake? I supplement Dow Flake (old stock) and Mag Flake for all water changes. I'm just not sure if the chemistry calculator most use can still be used with the CaCl now offered.

Sure - as long as they specify the 77 to 80% calcium chloride.
