Ive had a spike of green hair algae in my tank. I was doing good for a while then it just popped up out of nowhere.

Its cover about 30% of my live rock. So far ive tried:

Turning lights off for 3 days. (twice)
Reduced feeding of tank.
Pulling it out.

Nitrates are at 1-2ppm
Phosphate is below .01ppm
Magnesium 1300ppm
Salinity 1.025
Temp 78.5
Ca 440
dKH 10

The only reason they are is because the algae is sucking it all up. Im replacing my rowaphos and reducing the lighting to 8 hours per day from 10. Im also picking what I can out from the tank. But what can i do to make sure it never comes back and to finally eradicate this pesky problem?
