I place them under high lighting. Bought them really white and now them turn brown. Never pulse or open up though.

With Xenia it was likely brown originally and then it turned white. (Bleached) Turning brown is probably a good sign.

I agree. Sounds like its getting the color back.

Yeah, I agree with the others. Probably supposed to be brown.

Several months ago, I was naive enough to buy a white and green candy coral. After several weeks in my aquarium, the white part started turning brown. I thought the candy was dying, so I posted pictures on here and everyone replied that it was bleached and coming back. They were right, cause now my candy is green and brown and growing, and one of the heads is even splitting.

Mine are light brown so I guess they are going pretty good. Do u have a pic ?
