I'm looking for a little help here. I've been searching around and can't find out what this is. My acro has three small white patches on it. Small patches that are half the size of a dime. The patches are mucous like and can be blown off. Each time I blow the mucous off, it comes back. The first place one of these patches showed up, the coral has what looks like a chunk taken out of it, but the tissue and polyps are grown back. I've looked at my coral with lights off and can't see anything on it. The rest of the coral is not showing any signs of stress that I can see. Polyps are extended and coral is growing new tissue. Any clue to what this sound like will be helpful. Thank you. Oh, and I am attempting to photo it and will post it if I am able.

sounds like it is getting stung by something....any anemones near it or hydnophora? or any LPS? galaxia, hammer, torches etc?

Here is a picture.

Thank you for you reply NanoReefWanabe. There is nothing close enough to sting it and I haven't seen anything close.
