My little rose split again. It just split in November and it's at it again. This anemone is so tiny, I have been feeding it well, hoping for it to grow some but it has ideas of it's own. Other than being small it is healthy so I'm not going to get too worried. Just wanted to share.

I dont think a small nem splitting over and over again is a sign of health. Mine have only split when stressed. Admitedly I dont know everything but I would be worried.
Not trying to be a mean, but I would be looking for the reason.

I agree...look for a problem. Does it keep moving around?
Lighting OK? Tips are in bubble shape?
I've, had my bta for over a year and it "has not" ever split.
Two clarkiis' host in it and it's about 6" dia. or so.

It's a long story. I recieved a clone from my brother about 2 1/2 years ago. Mine have only split 2X and grown huge in between splits. He kept his in a very small tank and never fed. His stayed small and constantly split while small. He just gave me one of the tiny ones, I was hoping to get it to grow. These little ones are deeply colored and my parameters are great, lighting adequite. Does it looks unhealthy from the photo? I have been feeding which is something this little guy needed to get used to, would not accept food at first. This is something I have been trying to figure out for quite some time. If you have any suggestions, I am willing to experiment. I do plan to put one of these in my larger tank w/my large roses and see if that will make a difference. It's just plain wierd.

I have 4 of the larger roses (one geting ready to split) and 3 of the tiny roses. I am not the only one who has had this happen. I remember thinking that something is not right for these to be so stressed.

My first thought would be temp fluctuation but really I dont know.
My rbta split when a heater failed, and it looked just fine the whole time good color and nice bubble tips. It was a bad day I lost inverts, fish and coral not all of em but a few of each. The BTA just split in two and that was its only sign of stress.
If ya figure it out id be interested to see why.

This small rose moved constantly for my brother but has stayed put for me for the 2 months I have had it.

Look like sunburst w/ the white speckles! Any how as long as the live after splits id say go w/ it. When fed a lot they can split pretty frequent!

I was wrong, it split into three this time. The smallest is about the size of a quarter. They really are cute. They have all closed up and are fully expanded, looking small but good.

Here are the 3 clones this morning. Here are 2, it is hard to tell because they are very close and inflated.

This is the littlest rose, it is moving away from the others.

Here is one where you can see them all, you can get a better idea of their size.
