Try a wet razor blade and only scrape in one direction. This will leave a slight film but shouldn't be noticable. Other than that acetone or MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone), both sold in paint department at HD and Lowe's, may remove the film. But don't get chems in system. rinse wash repeat. Both solvents will evaporate quickly but rinse to be on safe side.
