Hello,

I want to have 2 temp probes for my system. 1 to monitor temp in the display and another for the sump. Do I have to buy the px100 expansion module for this? Or can I plug another temp probe in my unit?

I do the same; you will need a PX1000.

yep, need px1000. I have both in the sump. thats where the heater is, so even if the sump pump did die, thats the temp that matters, or the only temp that can be controlled anyway.

Kenargo, what kind of failsafe code do you have for the 2 temp probes? I'm thinking about adding another temp probe to the sump in case my display one fails. A temp probe in the sump could also give me an indication if my return pump would fail due to an indication in temperature.

Now I know you can use the ORP probe slot for a 2nd pH however is there anything else you can do with it? I mean I barely need pH don't run a Ca reactor, and seeing the rise and fall of pH every day is neat, perhaps one day when I toss in kalk to my topoff it'll be more useful. I don't need oRP. And with a PX1000 I really don't need two more sets of probes, so my wishlist to Neptune is have a stand alone temperature probe expansion :D
