You will need 2 parts. The 6080.23 sliding piece which slides onto the magnet, the 6080.40 arm on the pump. If you enter those part numbers into the search on tunze.com you can see pics

Approx 3100 gph at full speed

yeah i am tinkering with them in my 220 and they move alot of water!!!! i am going to have to figure out where i wanna place them and what i wanna do with the 7094 multi controller to mix up the wave patern. my tank is all softie now with a few lps's coming. maybe a few sps too but mostly softie and lps. how does the photocell work, do i just put it in my canopy and plug it in?

Yes, but be sure that the photocell is getting light during the day. At night it will stay at the power 2 or bottom speed knobs, during the day, pulsing will resume.

pulsing will resume? not sure what you mean by that, as im still tinkering with the controller. does that mean it pulses all the time like a mini wave action? BTW Roger, these things move a ton of water in my 220!!!!

Each channel has two speeds, normally the pumps pulse between the two speeds at the pulse time you set on the pulse knob.

yeah i am going to just play with them because i need to see what you mean as opposed to hear it...i think. :D
a guy here near me has a similar set up so i might ask him. thank you roger

so do i need to plug them into the "lit" part of the controller? what are the different options on the side. i guess one is the time it switches between cycles and the other is the water flow pattern?

Do you have a manual? The side that is lit is the side that is on, for example in Interval 1 only one channel is on at a time and you set the Interval between the channels coming on. If you need a manual you can download one at tunze.com.

Roger yes i have a manual, and i want the pumps to flow towards each other changing strength. does that make sense. i have the pumps in channel 8 and 10 then the flow is --><-- how do i or can i get the pumps to really move some water in this setup. it seems i can only get them to go at about 25% or so

You just turn up the power knobs on the bottom of the controller. There are two knobs per channel and the pumps pulse between the two knobs on each channel every few seconds which you set with the pulse knob.

if i turn the knobs up on the bottom what do i do with the top knobs?

rvitko

The pumps pulse between these two knobs, you set both- a high speed and a low speed.

ok, they dont seem to ever get near 3100 gph though, i might be doing something wrong. i dont know

i cant figure it out, im trying to read the manual. i have one pump on each end of my tank and am trying to get them to switch back and forth to get a sway type of motion out of them. neither one will go to the full gph of the 6100 for me. where should i have the knobs on the controller (7094) be at?

i still cant get either pump to go full out or nowhere near it. i must be doing something wrong

they dont even get 3100gph pugged into the wall, or i dont know what 3100gph looks like. i guess i thought it would be stronger i dont know anything at this point

Is the pot dial on the silver box turned all the way? If they are both all the way up and both feel just as stong when not plugged into a controller might just be a different flow than you are used to but still should be plenty strong

it just seemed like when i first got it and dropped it in the tank and plugged it in to see it i was like WOW!!!! it made some rocks wobble on the other side of my tank, now its nowhere near that strong(not that i want it knocking rocks over or anything)

I would have no idea what could cause two separate pumps that worked to suddenly both stop running at 100%. If you turn the pot on the silver box down all the way (opposite of where it is now) it is noticably lighter flow?

biecacka

yes it is noticable. i will put it back in the same spot i tested it in the tank and see what kind of flow it has as i have moved it and angled it since i put it in a more permanent place now. it could be just me, who knows. it could be it was just so much more that my k4's it seemed like it was alot.

Are you sure you have 6100's and not 6000's? Both are identical except the power supply on a 6000 is part 7210.202 and a 6100 has 7410.602.

yeah i just talked to the guy i bought them from, he sold them to me as 6000's i seen on the pump 6100and thought he made a mistake and in fact it was a mistake on my part. sorry for the confusion roger and shawn, both of you have been a huge help to me. i hope these are enough flow for my 220 with softies in it. i also have a 6045 in there. i just need to tinker to get rid or the dead spots or upgrade the transformers.
