when mixing a batch of calcium for the balling method it turned a yellow color ( i used a clean bucket with ro water) it would settle out(to a slight yellow) but left a film on the bottom of the bucket. i then mixed a batch of fauna marin calcium which i had from a earlier shipment and was perfect very clear. i just want to sure i can use it. has this happend to anyone else.

HI
Yes it is possible you get the newest Version which contains some
"added Minerals" ( it is not yet official ;-) ) which can change the color of the mix but it must be only very slightly.
In the newest Balling light mixes we add a part of our newest product Bio Activ in which helps to increase coral grow and nutrition control
due to the permant dosing of the balling salts it is senseful to add this direct and calculates over the salts
You can see it also on the salts their are also more fine then before
