Well, the sump is finally completed!! I went back and forth between putting it under the display or in the garage. Well, it ended up in the garage. Worked out real well and all plumbing turned out nice. I went through the wall with the 2 drains and 2 returns with valves on both returns to control from the garage. I mounted my frag tank on a shelf above the sump and water is circulated through the frag tank via a mag5 at about half flow. I'll be completeing the canopy this week and should be ready for the swap from my 75 gallon this next weekend. More pictures to follow!!

Great sump. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your build. Do you have any pics of the sump building process? I'm about to get into building a sump myself here before long.

Looks great!

I put the sump for my 120 in my garage too and I'm very happy with it. I get higher PH because it is always pulling fresh outside air in the skimmer. The stinky stuff like the cheato, skimmer cup and such are all outside of the house so you never get that "reef" smell in the house. There is so much room to work and clean/mess with stuff. Adding equipment or frag tanks is a breeze.

Reid and Cham, thanks! I went over this sump on paper 100 times before i finally plugged in the saw. I wanted everything just right and I am real glad I took my time planning. Reid, here is what the sump looked like when I got a hold of it.
