Is there any other light controller and led set up that will simulate moon cycles and storms, i know GLH does it, but I dont feel like dropping $800 to get that.....

Hi,

There are several like this one on the market, just search on moonlight controller. http://www.customaquatic.com/estore/control/product/~product=LT-RR4000531

I saw that one but it only dims the lights, it does not do the cloudy days, and storms.

Oh great - now we're going to have thunderstorms in our homes.

yup... they are awesome, my friend got a profilux controller and it included the lighting system. looks great at night.

Yes they are cool but to get the full effect you need the
dimmable ballast as well.Keep watching the Profilux,
they go an sale from time to time

I am very interested in the storm simulation is there any other controllers out there with storm simulation as well as all the other light simulations also can any of these units also pumps to simulate the currents during different events

Not really a storm simulation but my LFS put a piece of styrofoam in there one tank and it looked good! It made dim areas in the tank like clouds moving.
