Any opinions on these?

I haven't heard good or bad about them so I am curious.

Thanks

I LOVE MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have an MRC 2 with dual Beckett Injectors. Works great. Get the dry heaves every time I empty it.

I loved my MRC skimmer...

Great item; it was a dual-injector MR2 with a riser. Skimmed very, very well.

I just needed something more compact for my installation.

Bigboy what pump are you using to run it. I took of my second injector because I think my Genx40 was to small for both just curious what others are using.

I love my MR2, its a beast!

I loved my MR2 and sold it due to space in my new setup. Also great customer support.

I just hooked up an MR1 on my 75 gallon. Im running it with a mag12. This thing pulled out more junk, and ill agree with the dry heaving comment, in a couple of days than my old skimmer (sealife systems crap one) pulled out in more than a week. Im digging it.

I guess one thing to keep in mind is the electricity cost, it is a factor in Cal.

I run a Blueline 70 on it. I have a riser I'm going to put on it but gotta change my setup slighty so it fits where I want it. The only draw back on the pump is that it sucks up electric.

I had an MR-2 with dual becketts and 12 inch riser running a heavy loaded 400 gallon system. Skims great and keep nutrients extremely low. Sold it for an octo extreme and love this skimmer even more. The MRC takes up a ton of room and the high pressure pump needed to run it uses a lot of power and makes a lot of noise. If you don't mind that, they do their job great.

Good to know cdipasquale. I wouldn't say noise is a big issue but there is too loud.

I'm trying to figure out the space issue. Seems everyone says they take up a lot of space yet the footprint is smaller on the MR-2 then the Octo extreme 200. Am I missing something?

Of note, hieght is not an issue.
