As the title suggests, the new 70's from the last shipment(s) have the new full frame doors like the mini. When I have a chance I will add a picture.

I don't but hopefully someone with the new cabinet will post pictures. You can also see them on the "gallery" at our website. I also installed a custom 120xl last week with a new custom stand and it is beautiful. One of these days I will carry a camera with me that doesn't double as a phone.........

I picked up an Elos 70 tank and stand on Friday. I have to say the flush doors make the whole system look clean. Here are a few pics I snapped off with my point and shoot camera.

Maybe Santa should gave gotten Jesse a point and shoot camera to take with him to all his installs. :) I, for one, would love to see any and all inspirational tanks.

Quick question: why don't the larger Elos cabinets have bottoms in them? Seems a bit odd to me.

Thanks Arod, that helps. I love the full frame door on the new cabinet.
Acroaddict, In the past we had a bottom and people asked for more height in the cabinet and wanted to keep the bottom open so if you spill, the water could easily be removed and would not get under the bottom piece to cause problems.

My wife thinks I am crazy staring into an empty tank. And the tank/stand combo got a huge thumbs up from the wife, too.

Another thing is, the inside of the stand is actually quite spacious. I crawled in there with my two-year old while hiding from his 8-year old brother. I am 5'9" 195lbs and my 2-year old is, well, a two-year old size.

That looks freakin awesome! Have you sent out my 70 with black stand down to Medusa LA yet, Jesse? I hope to be able to pick it up on Sunday. Thanks for the pics arod.

The tank measures 29.5L x 22.5W x 20H. Unique isn't it? I don't remember the metric dimensions, which is the source of the craziness.

It will be packed tomorrow and go out either tomorrow or thursday. It is a one day transit to Medusa so you should be good, either way.

KMP, the dims are 29.5x22.5x20.
