Not sure where I picked this guy up. It's in a softie tank. Zoas, a sarco, GSP's, some shrooms.

They are beautiful, aren't they? Before you toss it, keep in mind that someone on RC may want it. It is most likely a seaslug of the genus Tritoniopsis. They feed on soft corals. If you have any soft corals that you would normally get rid of, you could use them as food for the slug...

Considering it looks like a soft coral, odds are very high that it eats soft coral. Nudi's often look like their food, it's a great way to hide from predators ;)

They are beautiful, and would be neat for a species tank if you could keep a single animal and supply it with the food species.

If its camoflauged for what it eats I'm going to guess you'll see it going near your sarco soon. Almost pretty enough to keep if it doesn't eat too fast :)

Bad seems to be the consensus even though I find it rather beautiful. I'm at a loss as to when and how it came in. I haven't added any new sarcos or big softies to that tank. Just zoo frags. Perhaps it came in as a much smaller one. No signs of it munching anything. I can't afford to have it smack its lips on any of my zoas.
How fast would it take for one to go from egg to 1 inch Nudi???
