CoralVue is coming out with a reflector to accommodate those that have large tanks. This new LB JUMBO reflector houses two bulbs which will allow for endless lighting possibilities(one 10k one 20k, etc.) and covers a larger square footage without sacrificing light intensity. This new reflector can use (175w-250w-400w-1000w) mogul socket bulbs. Mike will most likely be using these on his new tank.

Note: there is a protective film covering the reflective material.

Do you know the size of those bad boys? From the pics it looks like there will be 2 different models for mounting the bulbs differently? Thanks JR!

I'm very interested in these also. I've been pondering for months how to handle lighting on both a 70" by 28" 220, and a 96 x 30 400, with oddly, sometimes differently sized openings in the top bracing.
These look like they have great potential to solve all my problems.
When the dimensions, and the reasoning/use case/light patterns created by the two different bulb-mounting options are know, do let us know. (I'm very curious about the engineering behind the two different bulb mounting options, and how they'll affect light distribution)

JRaquatics - do you know when you will have these reflectors, and what dimensions?
I would like to try them

I am still waiting on specs and time of availability from the manufacturer. Soon as I find out I will post it here.
