Hi Everyone,

I just started a 55 reef tank. Right now its only livestock is 110lbs of live rock and a 3 inch live sand bed, some snails and shrimp.

Today I saw a red flatworm one my glass which looked almost exactly like this:

Later I saw one that looked like this (bottom):

There are also hundreds of little white ones on the glass that are 1mm or smaller, there is one in the picture above (top left)

How bad are the ones I have?

Since I have no fish/coral should I use the flatworm exit now, or will the few ones I have die off since I have no coral for them to feed on? (im not adding coral for a month or more).

Thanks!!

nuke em while u can, just be ready to do a 50% water change and run plenty of carbon after you do the chemical they are extremely toxic when they die,

Salifert FlatWorm Exit

or the BlueLife, Line w/e it is Flatworm stuff, both similar. Good Luck!
