Askoll/LAguna on an Extreme 200?

I think this has been mentioned, but I could not find anything. Do you guys think this would work, maybe a 900 or 1500?

You don't want to mess the the 900. Too problematic for the average hobbiest. The 1500 would work if you cripple the wheel or upgrade the cup, as it may be too much air for a stock Extreme 200 ( 8" body and little to no body to neck transition). I known there was talk a while back about it and I am sure there will be an optional upgrade package sometime in the near future but have no solid information on it right now.

I will post back to you guys when I do find out though.

What SCFH does one expect on 1500?

I have no idea about the air on a 1500. Good idea about a sicce on a diff skimmer, not that anything is wrong with the Octo body.
I have an Octo DNW 200 recirc hooked up at a firends house and I think the fittings are the same size. I would like to try on that body if it was in a sump. Let us know what happens Charlie.

I think that may be a Direct match.. with the bigger body of the 300 and a larger throat size..

I kinda wonder why the sicce discharge is not used as 1"..
Was this a move to throttle down air/water? Or just what pump comes with and easier to use?

I would like to hook up a 3rd to my 300 and get the longer neck.....perhaps a retro fit to make a 300 into a 350. Give a hell of a deal on an additional pump and neck extended cup and the plumbing parts. I can drill the thing myself and add the pump to where it needs to go.....or let me ship it in for the retro fit.
