1) Anyone have a idea when the dimmable t5 module should be out. I know that it is way behind schedule but it would be nice to have a general clue. That and why is it taking so long when other controllers can already provide this feature?

2) Will this module work with the "old" controller?

3) Does aquatronica provide some sort of trade out program with a reduced price for changing from the "old" controller to the "new" one? I ask as Profilux will offer such an incentive for their soon to be released newer controller and as the "old" users have stuck around through all the controller problems it would be nice to know we are being looked after. (I personally went through 3 controller and 2 plug bars and I still have accessories sitting on my shelf that don't work because I have stopped trying to fix that problem).

Cheers,
Tom

I'm wondering about it, too. Hopefully it will be a module that I can afford while still in college. :D

As far as I know, it will work with the old controller. I think for now everything is completely compatible with both (although its subject to change later on).

Yeah, there was an upgrade/trade-in program, but I believe it expired. Contact Will at AO and he will let ya know.

:) A module for Sfiligoi, giesemann and aquamedic + others is imminent. Just like the wave module.
I suspect that the light dimming module for the Sfiligoi light fittings will be something along the lines of their ACLS system with extras.
The Giesemann version will be close behind.

:D My speculation. :D

Maybe Gilberto is secretly testing some.

I truly hope its not brand specific. Just 1v-10v would be perfect. :)

Brands generally mean more money. :(

FWIW for those who are looking, you can get dimmable Sylvania T5HO ballasts on eBay for around $35 or $40 from time to time. :)
