I'm taking down a 56 gallon anemone tank and my 75 gallon reef in preparation of an upcoming move. I'm keeping a select assortment of my fish and corals. I know the lighting will support nems or clams so I'm just trying to decide who should move into the new digs.

My original idea was to move my giant toadstool, school of glass cardinals (6), firefish (he's my first and oldest fish), and maybe my clams. As you can see, the toadstool would take up most of the display:

The other idea is to move over the nems and the pair of mated GSM's. I know 20 gallons seems small for the clowns, but they don't venture more than 3 inches from their anemone anyway. I don't have any pics but the nems are attached to some Tongan branch so the tank would look and be very open and spacious.

6 cardinals and one firefish in a Mini?
I might misread it but 7 fishes is way too much for a 20 gallon tank. (yes/no?)

I thought that as well, but they really don't swim much in my 75 gallon. They just stay huddled together most of the time.

Bioload will be too much with that many fish, even though they are small...

Whatever you do, don't tell the Elos people that.

I can see that the Elos crowd doesn't like sarcasm. I have found a good home for my school of Cardinals so I will only be adding the firefish, pajama cardinal, cleaner shrimp, and brittle star to the tank, along with the big leather, clams, and a few mushrooms.

I thought it was funny. In their defense, that aquarium was setup for a few days at a trade show. Reminds me of some of the freshwater planted setups I see as I look at them and think how beautiful and impossible they are to keep over time.

Jesse, will my new mini have the micro bubble problem corrected or is this something I need to do myself?

At this point it is very few who have reported this problem, out of the many countries we sell the MINI and I am starting to believe it is a combination of maybe some defective pumps and the extra siphon hole in a few MINI's. For the siphon hole it will be covered if needed and if there is a defective pump it will be replaced. Hope that helps.

My mini made it minus the pumps. They are being sent as I write this.

Here are my first impressions:
-The stand is super solid. No factory built nano stand even comes close.
-The silicone job on the tank is perfect.
-The light is the sleekest fixture out there. Mine arrived in black which I like.
-The light is very bright. Being able to control the intensity would be a great upgrade.

Hopefully I'll have some H2O in it tomorrow. I'll post some pics when there's something to see.

Mini is on the stand and filled with water. No leaks but I discovered that my skimmer was damaged in transport. I'm sure Jeremy at Premium Aquatics will take care of it as he's been extremely helpful and great to deal with. I do have the dreaded micro bubbles and will try to get those eradicated before moving anything into the tank.

Here's the skimmer. You can see it broke at the seam on the 90. I'm surprised because it was covered with bubble wrap when I got it.

Ouch. Sorry to see that. I just got off the phone with Jeremy and your skimmer body will ship from here today. Send me an email and I will give you the tracking number.

You guys are awesome. These tanks may cost a little more but the personal service is worth it.

Actually, my lfs had a solana with the stand and sunpod and it was around $1300. After seeing the e-light, I could never go back to MH's.
