Are plans for the Hurricone CAT 3 are to be similar to the CAT 2 External but with a 12" body larger neck and two Askoll 1500 pumps. A real monster of a skimmer. Soon as I get more info on the CAT 3 I will post it here and on the Hurricone thread. I can't comment on a performance difference between the two skimmers as I have never owned or or operated a BK250. So it would be unfair for you and RE if I would say it will or won't out perform that skimmer. Thanks for the interest. Stay tuned.
