I am running a GEO 612 Ca reactor. I've heard a lot of people say that they have had problems with ARM. I've also heard a lot of people saying it's the best. Tell me which one you like and why you like it. Thanks.

When I soaked Gen-X in RO/DI for a few days, it would read very, very low in PO4's. Never had it affect PO4 levels. That's a plus for me for any Ca reactor media..

I never thought about that. I should try that.

ARM. I have been using ARM for a few years now with no issues. My corals seem to like it.

I have read some reviews where some say that ARM has a lot of issues. I wonder what they are talking about. Thanks for the replies. Keep them coming.

gibson981, most arm issues I hear of are user created (running to low of pH and "melting" the media).
I use GenX primarily, with Zeomag in the main chamber. The secondary chamber has a small amount of large grained Arm, then smaller grained Arm.
