I'm needing a skimmer really bad. I've spent alot of cash on this tank and I want a good skimmer, but I don't want to spend big bucks. I know you get what you pay for, but I'm strapped. I don't have a sump and a hanging skipper seems to be the best opition. http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_ViewItem~action~view~idProduct~ACRPD~idCategory~FIPSHOSI~category~Spray_Injection-Hang_On_Skimmers-Protein_Skimmers-Saltwater_Aquarium_Supplies~vendor~.html

I don't know if this pump is any good. Any suggestions?

Aqua C makes good skimmers, but you might consider getting an HOB overflow and sump setup as well. It will make your life easier and your tank more attractive down the line.

People who have them seem to like them. I see them pretty frequently on the used forum for around $100-$120 just as an FYI. You could get a heck of a used skimmer for the same $$$ as that one new.

Just my 2 cents...
