OK, with our home RO systems, there's a lot of waste water, on the order of 4 times as much waste water as RO water. I'm waiting on a new RO cartridge, so I'm using a Glacier Water machine outside the grocery store. There's no drain on the machine, just a water supply and electrical connection. Where does the waste water go? Glacier Water's website is a dearth of information, unless you want to invest in their company. Anyone know what the deal is with these machines?

If its RO it has to have a waste line hooked somewhere. My buddy does maintenance for a large national drug store chain which has vending machines outside some of their stores and he has problems with both their water consumption and sewer drains all the time. RO membranes have to be flushed to work.
