QT - What to do after illness?

I recently lost a new fish to clown fish disease, which iscertainly now present in my QT. Question is, what do I do to sterilize my QT before introducing new fish?

if there is nothing living in the tank as of now I would empty it, clean the tank with a little vinegar, replace any filter pads if it's a hang on filter, and should be good to go

I agree. Empty it, clean/disinfect the tank and all equipment and refill using aged water from your display tank.

Figured that would do it but for safety's sake I didn't want to miss anything.
