hey all
been here a while havent posted a whole lot .but here goes..
my tank is a 55gal . 60lbs of live sand .LR i stoped counting after 20lbs and prolly 40lbs base rock. pc 260w lights .a few corals .its been running since mar 08 .been running great .but ive been really thinking about a sump/overflow set up .with not much room under the stand what do you all reccomend .i know a 10gal will fit but is that big enough? i have been slowly adding corals as i go .and will prolly only add one or two more fish .only 2 clowns now .40 or so crabs. idk how many snails .and coral banded shrimp.. so im wanting something that will be enough sump for the longterm .or till i upgrade .. here some pics so youll have a idea ..
thanks in advance

Probably the best pieces of advice I have picked up along the way on researching and planning for my sump/refuge set up is..... Go as big as possible. :D

[welcome]

As big as possible is good advice, if 10 gal is as big as you can go, then go ahead and do it. I refugium is a great addition to any tank.

Here is a link to my build thread, I hope you can find some good info in it.

Also check out my little red house for my in-wall 55.

Good luck and happy reefing.
