Hi all,
Just wondering what you are using for circulation in your mini. I tried a Koralia nano which is around 237 gph but it just doesnt have anywhere near enough flow. I was considering putting in the Koralia 1 which has 400 gph flow but was also considering the Vortech MP20 which is 500-2000gph....
Any guidance is always greatly appreciated.
I should say that I am keeping a nem, morphs, zoos etc. No sps.
Cheers

Im running the Vortech MP20 in my Mini. I set the speed at about 1/2 throttle and it seems to be perfect. Just enough flow without disturbing the sand bed. Also, the fact that the motor is outside of the tank has two very positive outcomes: For one, it takes up a fraction of the space that a similarly sized circulation pump would. Secondly, in a tank this small heat can be a real issue. With the Vortech, all the heat is outside the tank (because the pumps motor is outside the tank). The only thing I would change on it would be the controller. I feel that the Tunze controler is superior to the Vortech. Oh well. :)

Although I only have water and sand in my tank right now, I have the mp20 about half throttle and have a nice wave going without moving the sand.
