HOB skimmer

Can anyone shed light on a octpus 300F HOB skimmer? I'm going with this for now just plug and play. I was considering a sump with skimmer but want to get up and running don't have tank drilled so this is just the easiest way to go for what I have.

You could get an overflow box so that you can set up a sump. Is this for the 125? As far as the octopus goes you should be able to go to the website...
