From what I have been able to find these are knock offs of Deltecs. The pump even resembles the aquabee pump. http://www.premiumaquatics.com/thestore/prods/DAS-BX-1.html

That seems to be an old link, if you go to premiums site, they do not list that skimmer anymore.

You may contact Premeium and see if they do still have them, and if they are any good.

They are the exact same pump and needle wheel as deltecs... I believe they buy them from deltec or licence them, I forget which. Thier performance is pretty close to deltec at a cheaper price... The DAS are slightly less quality too than a deltec....

Premium does not car Das anymore...

The new bubble magnus 155, 150, 160 use the same pump and are cheaper with a better design, when tested the BM needlewheel beat DAS, deltec and h&s.

OK. I have pretty much found all the info I need beside some one that has one and how well they work..

Great skimmer for the $. Pretty much a Deltec but the aquabee pump and needle wheel are not the exact same as the Deltec. My only worry with DAS is customer service (warranty & parts), can be hit or miss.

I have the DAS EX2 and love it. It pulls some seriously nasty skimmate out of my 100gal system, sometimes stops working as it cant skim anymore but not the fault of the skimmer just too much skimmer for the volume. I empty the cup once a week and almost retch with the smell. So far so good, the aquabees are great pumps and all round I am very happy. The Bubble Magus was not out when I bought my skimmer so cant comment.

I have a EX-1 for my 90 and LOVE It. at the time I bought it (about a year ago) you couldn't find a good skimmer for that price. So I'm very happy.

I have an EX-1 on my 65, it's great. I actually used to own a Deltec AP600, and this DAS works just as well.

I had the EX1 and now own a EX 3. I love these skimmers.
