has anyone ever noticed amphipods eating their zoas?

i have had my zoas for over a year still to this day they are big and open when i get home but i noticed day by day polyps missing. i turned on my little red led light last night and my frag disc was covered in pods. they looked to be chomping at the stalk of my zoas.

Not the best choice, but Interceptor works wonders at killing most if not all inverts in a tank. Its used to kill redbugs, but also will kill most inverts as well.

Also wrasses can control AMPIPODS.

yes a yellow wrasse will eat alot of pods also will green mandarin but i would go with a wrasse caz the mandarin will only eat pods so he wont be survive for long.

My question might be stupid but it seems reasonable.... since the pods only come out when the lights are off and by that time, the wrasse is already sleeping, how does the wrasse control the pod population? IME, I had a sixline and the amphipods in the tank still got out of control and caused problems with my zoas. I have a Halichoeres melanurus now and my pod population seems to be on the rise.
