You can use the timers down to a one minute resolution for dosing pumps. Other than that, I don't know what else it could be used for in terms of dosing. I ran dosing pumps for a little while before I ditched them and got a reactor.

You can have dosing pumps turn on when lights turn off, or if pH gets too high dosing pumps will turn off.

All outlets have control for time, pH and temp, and all talk to each other, so you can have outlets alternate, or what ever you choose.

For my doser, I have my ACJr. dosing 1 min, then its off for 59, this way one "command" doses once an hour all the time, instead of having to program in 24 different times. You can also run this timing, but only when day lights are off if you want.

Very versatile.
