View Full Version : Pinpoint PH Monitor - Problem

Hello, I received my Pinpoint PH Monitor yesterday and tried to calibrate it using the 7.0 and 4.0 supplied liquids but ran into a problem. The instructions say to keep calibrating with both solutions until the readings match exactly. Well, on my second round, the 7.0 reading was up to 8.02 so I turned the screw back to 7.0 and the 4.0 reading went down to 2.34. After turning the screw several times, the highest reading I got was 2.84. I could not raise it any higher. I gave up trying and was going to call you today to return it but I figure I would try here first to make sure I did everything correctly.

This is frustrating. I ordered it with other supplies on Jan 5 and 10 days later it arrives and now it doesn't work properly. I hope there is a fix because I don't want to wait another 10 days for a replacement. Any suggestions?
