View Full Version : why NO discount on shipping?????

Almost every vendor that is a sponsor of ReefCentral, offers some kinda discount on livestock orders made from $175.00-$300.00 and yet Reefs2go said ONLY on orders $1,500.00 or more. Why? If people are spending $1,500.00 or more on livestock, isn't obvious money isn't much of a factor to them? What about the little guys in the $200-$300 range? Gas prices are at record lows and yet still no break? I have been looking at my $400 or so shopping cart for 2 weeks, and I just can't seem to finalize it if I know the company just sees me as small factor in their business model. Is my $400 not worth your business enough ?

on their e-bay store piece-of the -reef, they offer major discounts on their shipping. i haven't checked their website for shipping. i'm just trying to get them to answer the phone about an order i received today that i have issues with.
P.S. The RED LEG hermits are not the scarlets in the pic they are just some kind of shore hermit.

They were very quick to refund me 100% on the crabs, plus I had ordered 100 nassarius snails of which I only received 25 so they refunded 75% of what I paid for those. Everthing else was of good quality and price.

Ok just noticed on their web site under policies is shipping info, they do give a good discount on everything after the first item. $29.99 for the first item then $1.00 on each additional item. The first item could be 3 naso tangs and the second could be 20 green chromis. seems like a deal on shipping to me.

Try emailing through the ebay site. Ask about combined orders on the web and ebay. she combined mine. Havent had any trouble. The few DOAs were refunded or replaced. And it wasnt thier fault it was fed ex. Christine is really great to work with. They have more in stock than the site. Just ask and see if they have it. They run local store as well. it may take a few days for her to get back to you but it is well worth it. The money i saved on a clean up crew was huge. Just email though the email addy listed on the auction. They do not have ebay email.
just subject head it SPECIAL REQUEST... Youll find combining between the ebay and website worth your while. :)

Well, I did call and speak with Claudia a while back and she seemed very understanding but stuck by the constraints of their policies. So, forgot them all together!!!! I went with Bluezooaquatics and got my clean-up crew shipped FREE and I was so happy, I wound up ordering another order a week later for more stuff...And shipped for FREE AGAIN!!! Forget *********!
