I've had my tank cycling for 3 weeks now and I'm going through my diatom outbreak. I was looking at my tank this morning and noticed a small hump in the sand on the left side of my tank. It's too perfect to have just happened so I'm wondering what it could be. I don't know if the pictures will show it well but I haven't seen anything of hitchhikers on my rock or wandering around the tank.

As anyone ever seen anything like this or think you might know what it could be? I'd love to know.

Could is be caused by the flow in the tank?

Maybe... it's just odd that it's SO perfect. Normally you would see shifting somewhere else in the tank by the way the PH's are pointed. Hmmm. I dunno, I still think it's something.

Okay, I'm really hoping it's something COOL ;)

well, you could move it back and wait a couple days and see if it happens again, if so, you have to think it was the flow from the PHs.
